The 12-acre lot containing a dilapidated train station is slated for development as a family-friendly, 284-apartment complex. This year the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Delray Beach will host celebrations in honor of the 52nd Delray Affair. Dubbed the "Greatest Show Under the Sun", this is the largest arts and crafts festival in the region. Development on rental projects has made construction crews the stars of Boca Raton's  downtown skyline. This tourist season is fueled by new construction to meet the demand for space.

The 261-unit Camden Boca Raton complex is still under construction, at 131 S. Federal Highway. The Mark at CityScape is also a work in progress, located just behind 120 E. Palmetto Park Road.
