Yet another exciting, new construction luxury community will soon be completed on the site of a neglected municipal golf course. This time around, the former site of the Boca Municipal Golf Course, located off Glades Road and west of the Florida Turnpike will be converted to GL Homes’ newest project: Lotus Palm. 

Potential homeowners who have missed the boat on Boca Bridges, Lotus, Seven Bridges, and other popular Boca Raton and Delray Beach new construction communities are no doubt delighted to hear of this latest opportunity to design and build their own brand-new South Florida luxury residence.

How Many Homes Will Be Built in Lotus Palms?

Approximately 525 luxury single-family homes will be built in Lotus Palms. These will be spread among two of GL Homes’ most popular contemporary collection styles: the Fiji Collection (utilizing lots sized 50x135) and the Bali Collection (lots sized 62x128).

Floor plans are expected to be similar to those found at Lotus—albeit with updates as well as three new options, two of which will be large, single-story homes featuring 3-car garages. 

Will Membership or Equity Be Required at Lotus Palm?

The reported amenities featured in Lotus Palm include a splash pad and covered playground for younger residents; party pavilion and indoor/outdoor restaurant; lap pool, tennis and pickleball courts, fitness center, and a yoga lawn for fitness-minded homeowners; and a beach entry resort-style pool. Residents are welcome to take full advantage of these and other amenities without any membership or equity requirement. 

Lotus Palm New Floor Plans

GL Homes has just released their new floor plans that will be featured in Lotus Palm. Lotus Palm will have two collections- the Fiji Collection and the Bali Collection. Many of Lotus Palms' floor plans are similar to those in the Lotus community, although improvements will be made, and three brand new floor plans have been added:

• The Bermuda model in the Fiji Collection is a one-story home with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 1 half bath, plus a den/optional 4th bedroom, and a 3-car garage. It is 2,573 square feet under air, with 3,561 total square feet. All of the bedrooms have their own full bathroom and walk-in closet.
• The Santo Grande model in the Bali Collection is a one-story home with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 1 half bath, plus a den/optional 5th bedroom, and a 3-car garage. It is 3,100 square feet under air, with 4,122 total square feet.  All of the bedrooms have their own full bathroom and walk-in closet.
• The Sumatra Grand model in the Bali Collection is a two-story home with 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 1 half bath, plus a club room/optional 6th bedroom, loft, media room, and a 3-car garage. It is 5,071 square feet under air, with 6,225 total square feet.  4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 1 half bath, plus a den/optional 5th bedroom, and a 3-car garage. It is 3,100 square feet under air, with 4,122 total square feet - the second-largest floor plan in the community.  The master bedroom is downstairs along with the club room, while the other bedrooms and media room are upstairs.

How Much Will Lotus Palm Homes Cost?

Prices for the new construction homes in Lotus Palm are expected to start between $1.3 million and $2.5 million prior to selected upgrades and lot premiums. 

Sales are expected to begin any day; however, in order to get your foot in the door at Lotus Palm, buyers will need to be qualified through a lottery system. The first phase will be limited, and construction could reach past 16-18 months' expectations due to supply chain issues.
