Golf and Tennis Country Club Donated to The City of Boca Raton

In late 2020, the Boca Country Club's golf and tennis facilities were generously donated to The City of Boca Raton by the Boca Raton Resort and Club owners.  Boca Golf and Tennis Country Club was acquired in 2019 by Boca County Club Owner, LLC, as part of the purchase of Boca Raton Resort and Club. In October 2020, the new golf course owners announced plans to donate the 130-acre Boca Country Club to the City of Boca Raton. As a result of this donation, the Boca Country Club, which includes an 18-hole championship golf course, tennis courts, a clubhouse, and a pool, is proposed to become a publicly owned and operated facility in October 2021.

As of October, Boca Raton's newest golf course, the Boca Raton Golf & Racquet Club, was open for play. The 18-hole premier course offers experienced and new players a premium golf experience in Boca Raton. The City continues to invest over $7 million dollars on improvements to the facility, which will include course upgrades, clubhouse and cart barn remodeling, the addition of pickleball courts, landscaping and more.

Boca Country Club Membership

Country club membership had always been optional but not mandatory in Boca Country Club.  Now that the City of Boca owns the golf and country club, there isn't an option to join, as it's a public facility open to anyone.  The Boca Raton (formerly known as Boca Resort and Club) offers premier membership options for members and guests of the resort in a more private setting if that's what you prefer.  The Boca Raton Club Course offers twelve acres of water, a signature island-green finishing hole, and an undeniable sense of history. This 18-hole, par-71 course spans 6,253 yards of dramatic landscapes in a treasured Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.

The Boca Country Club community is conveniently located on Congress Avenue, just North of Clint Moore Road. So you are mere moments from both downtown Boca Raton and the vibrant downtown Delray Beach.
