In 2007 Megan s the co-founded the Sisters of Sunshine, a Delray Beach-based womens registered non-profit charitable organization, to give back to the local community. The focus of this charitable organization is the health, wellness, and education of women in South Florida. She also gives her time to many local organizations such as the Achievement Centers for Family and Children and Delray Students First. As well as acting as a community leader while spearheading neighborhood events like the annual trick or treat gathering at Halloween, the now famous Lake Ida Coconut Eater Egg Hunt and festive tour or lights on golf carts.
