Royal Oak Hills is a desirable community with no homeowners association (HOA) comprised of both waterfront and dry lot single-family homes in East Boca Raton, Florida. Royal Oak Hills homes were developed in the 1960's when developers Burt Haft and Jack Gaines (Royal Boca Developers) built the "Old Florida" ranch-style homes. Haft and Gaines were known for their development of the successful Fort Lauderdale community of Imperial Point. Originally, the nine (9) model homes were marketed to upper-middle-class doctors and lawyers in the northeast as second homes. The community now has transitioned into a beautiful neighborhood that appeals to everyone, especially those families with young children, as the school district is one of the most desirable. Addison Mizner Elementary, Boca Middle, and Boca Community High School are in the zoning district of Royal Oak Hills. Many Royal Oak Hills homes for sale are situated on the El Rio Canal which leads to the Atlantic Ocean. While there are fixed bridges, the canal is great for smaller boats, jet skiing, and other water-based activities. Royal Oak Hills homes for sale have between 2 and 4 bedrooms ranging in size from 1,400 square feet to over 3,000 square feet.
