St. Andrews Country Club in Boca Raton

Phase I of the three phase $25 Million Club Improvement Plan is complete and included the renovation and redesign of the 18-hole Olde course and practice facilities by golf course designer, Tom Fazio II, along with substantial improvements to the ballroom and ladies' card room.

Fazio's design for the new Fazio II Course features stunning and strategic bunkering, dramatic change in the visual appearance, new landscaping, new bulkheads and lake banks, new drainage and irrigation foundations, new greens, tees, bunkers and cart paths, installation of Bermuda Turf, and most importantly, improving the playability at all skill levels for members and guests.

An affiliate of Siemens Group paid $13.5 million to acquire the site of the Akoya condominium project at the Boca West Country Club.

BW-PC LLC, an affiliate of the country club, sold the 6.8-acre site along Boca West Drive to BW-INV LLC, an affiliate of Boca Raton-based Siemens Group led by veteran developer Richard Siemens. The site last traded for $2.35 million in 2007, when Walt Disney World sold it to the club.

Akoya features 140 units with reduced prices now ranging from the $800,000s to over $2 million.  Original pricing started at $1.2 million for decorator-ready units, meaning no finishes, flooring, or fixtures.  Akoya condos will now be delivered with luxury appointments and features including gourmet kitchens with Wolf and Sub-Zero

Woodfield Country Club, one of the area’s premier residential communities with world-class resort amenities, has announced a $23.75 million renovation plan that will begin in 2015 and continue for approximately two-three years. The renovation plan includes new and expanded card rooms, an interior design refresh in the main clubhouse and dining areas, along with an overhaul of the fitness, aquatics, poolside dining and child care areas. A major addition is a new building and play area for use by younger members of the country club including teens and children.

Architectural plans and timetables will be finalized this year with construction to begin in early 2015.
